Whether you're new to Bush Craft or looking to expand your knowledge we have a wealth of experience to give you new skills.
We also have a fully mobile Bushcraft training provision for: Schools-College-Scouting and Youth Training Providers.
All modules can be run as part of a multi-activity package. If you would like an in depth introduction to bush craft we run a very popular course from a day's introduction to week long, full board, residential courses as part of the Safari Camping.
Our courses are designed to facilitate people in becoming very proficient in Bush Craft. Each discipline is taught by participation in a series of tasks demonstrated well, with ample time to practice each stage with instructors to hand, to help refine skills and answer any questions.
Woodlander living
This course leads on from woodlander tools to further develop your skill base.
Using the natural materials we will make a great outdoor shelter. To create your shelters we will learn about knots, lashings, materials suitable for covering the natural shelter.
We will use the army style tarps and paracute also to give a broad experience in shelter types, add to this busy course cooking and preparation of wild food for a complete course.
Woodlander tools. "A Fun Bush craft insight for all levels"
Skills for a safe, busy and creative life in the woodland! We teach the key safe use of knives, saws and axes, how to produce fire by using Flint and fire sticks. Also, learn how storm kettles function and make some excellent bread on stick, all covered in a fun 2.5 to 3 hours.
The Bush Craft courses can be run at all sites- Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan and West Wales which is our Pembroke site "Starmans".

On these courses, you will need:

All weather clothing, old clothes( Gortex and valuable clothing must not be worn as it is at great risk when working in the woodland!),Foot Wear- Boots, Wellies and Trainers-it is vital that you do not wear any open sandals! Please wear long trousers and long sleeve tops to protect from working in the woods.

You can bring your own Knife and Axe- We do supply Bush Craft items at a reduced cost for people attending our courses
