We teach safe use of knives, saws and axes, how to produce fire by friction and other methods, use of other tools in a correct and safe manner to create essential items out of natural materials, ropes knots and lashings. cooking, preserving local 'in season' game and the gathering and use of wild foods, building shelter, and introduction to safety and survival in the wilderness.
All modules can be run as part of a multi-activity package. If you would like an in depth introduction to bush craft we run a very popular course from a day's introduction to week long, full board, residential courses
Our courses are designed to facilitate people in becoming very proficient in Bush Craft. Each discipline is taught by participation in a series of tasks demonstrated well, with ample time to practice each stage with instructors to hand, to help refine skills and answer any questions.
